Revo Uninstaller
Revo Uninstaller is a powerful tool designed to remove programs from your PC, including those with incomplete or problematic uninstallers. It offers several key features:
Features
Thorough Removal: Revo Uninstaller first runs the program's built-in uninstaller, then scans for leftover data, including files, folders, and Windows Registry entries
Windows Apps Removal: it can uninstall both pre-installed and user-installed Windows Apps
Hunter Mode: an innovative feature allowing users to uninstall or manage the automatic startup of programs by dragging an icon over the program's window, shortcut, or System Tray icon
Benefits
Complete Removal of Programs: Revo Uninstaller ensures that programs are removed from your system, including leftover files and registry entries that might remain after using the standard uninstaller.
Improved System Performance: Revo Uninstaller helps maintain your system's performance and reduces clutter by removing unnecessary files and registry entries.
Enhanced Security: removing leftover data from uninstalled programs can help prevent potential security vulnerabilities.
User-Friendly Interface: the tool provides an intuitive interface that makes it easy for users to navigate and manage their installed applications.
Multi-Level Backup System: Revo Uninstaller creates backups of removed registry entries and files, providing a safety net in case something goes wrong.
Windows Apps Removal: it supports the removal of Windows Apps, which can be difficult to uninstall using standard methods.
Free Version Availability: a free version is available for basic uninstallation needs, making it accessible to many users.
Real-Time Monitoring (Pro Version): the Pro version offers real-time monitoring of system changes, allowing users to track and manage changes made by installed programs.
Technical Support and Updates (Pro Version): the Pro version includes technical support and free updates during the subscription period, ensuring users can access the latest features and assistance.
The Revo Uninstaller Process
Right-click a program and select "Uninstall".
Go through the dialogue options to uninstall the application.
Scan for registry entries and remove them.
Scan for leftover files and remove them.
Safety Considerations
While Revo Uninstaller is generally considered safe, users should exercise caution:
The tool offers different scanning modes (safe, moderate, and advanced) for post-uninstall cleanup
It's recommended to create a system restore point before uninstalling any program; Revo Uninstaller offers to do so
The program includes a multi-level backup system and creates (if you want) a Windows Restore Point at the start of any uninstall operation
Versions and Pricing
Revo Uninstaller offers both free and paid versions:
Free: Includes basic uninstallation features
Pro: Offers extended scanning, real-time monitoring of system changes, and additional cleaning tools
Licenses for the Pro version are purchased as active subscriptions for 1 or 2 years, with free updates and technical support during that period. Regular discounts include the recent 30% off for St Patrick’s Day, so it could be worth waiting if you are not in a rush.
Final Thoughts
While Revo Uninstaller is a powerful tool for managing software on your PC, users should always be cautious when removing system files and registry entries to avoid unintended consequences.

New Research: How Often Do Americans Search Google? Which Search Verticals Do They Use?
New research reveals that Americans performed an average of 126 unique Google searches per month on desktops in 2024, with a median of 53, highlighting a significant disparity in search behaviour.
Notably, Google Images remains a major search vertical, accounting for about one-eighth the volume of Google.com. While mobile app usage for Google Maps isn't included, substantial Maps searches occur within the standard Google search interface. Interestingly, Google's announcement of "more than 5 Trillion searches in 2024" aligns with this study's findings, lending credibility to the data. This analysis provides a critical benchmark for observing potential shifts in search habits due to the rise of AI tools in the future
